Warranty:
Unionville Strings offers a limited lifetime warranty. Unionville Strings
warrants that the instrument purchased from us or our authorized dealer
shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal
use.
This warranty does not apply: 1) to wear and tear of the instrument
or its parts, 2) to defects caused by modification, misuse or abuse,
or improper maintenance of the instrument, 3) to asserted defects involving
subjective personal likes or judgments, 4) to asserted defects caused
by exposure to extremes of temperature or humidity, 5) to defects asserted
by any purchaser who did not purchase the instrument directly from us
or from an authorized Unionville Strings dealer in the USA, 6) to banjos
owned by non-U.S. residents, or 7) to banjos owned by a second purchaser.
The obligation of Unionville Strings hereunder is limited to repair
or replacement of parts of the instrument found to be defective under
this warranty. In no event shall Unionville Strings be liable for any
indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited
to time, wages, or lost profits, of any nature or kind or for damages
to or loss of property.
All warranty claims must accept the conditions of the above described
warranty and include a receipt of purchase. You may contact us via email
or telephone. Failure to contact us will void any claims. You must inform
us of the nature of the problem and all shipping of instruments to us
is the purchaser's responsibility.
To file a claim, you must request a return authorization (RA) number.
All packages delivered without an RA number will be refused. Once an
RA number is received, the entire instrument must be returned to Unionville
Strings. Include your receipt, thus confirming you are the original purchaser.
Please provide a description of asserted defect. Include your name, address,
and phone number. Unionville Strings shall review the description of
the asserted defect, examine the instrument, and make service, repairs,
and replacements as appropriate. Upon completion of the service, the
instrument shall be returned by Unionville Strings to the purchaser,
with shipping and insurance paid by Unionville Strings. In the event
it is determined that the asserted defect in not covered by or is excluded
from this limited warranty, the instrument shall be returned without
repairs or replacement, shipping and insurance to be paid by the purchaser.
